It's not perfect, but It's nice
The location was fantastic, with tram access right outside and excellent dining options nearby. The cleanliness was commendable, and breakfast had a great selection. While the staff was generally helpful, a few moments of unfriendliness were noted. It contributed to a nice experience in the city.

Nice pool and sauna area.
Our experience was marred by terrible service from staff who didn't speak English. We struggled to communicate and had to rely on translation apps for basic needs. The hotel was also in disrepair, with a damaged entrance and moldy bathrooms that were unacceptable for a supposed four-star hotel.

I loved staying at darkhill! The location was perfect, just a short walk to the old city and tram station. The spa services were amazing, and i really enjoyed the hamam experience. The staff was friendly, and the room was comfortable.
more variety in breakfast would be nice.

We had such a nice time enjoying the beautiful terrace view every evening! The hotel was conveniently located near the tram. Rooms were clean and breakfast offered a nice variety.
My kids wished there was a functioning pool since that's what we looked forward to the most. It would be great if the hotel improved their communication and service regarding facilities for families.

Excellent location, friendly staff
There was no balcony indicated on Booked.net and the noise from the conditionner's istallations (and even from the generator during the first night of our stay) in the small yard of the hotel made our room quit uncomfortable

Great location & breakfast
The breakfast was super good with lots of options and they switched it up a bit each day! The spot is ideal-just a hop to the tram. Only thing is, the window was a bit tricky to open.

First of all,I have to say that I had one of the most beautiful holidays in my life in Istambul, this summer.I Was very pleased about the manager atitude, helping us in airport pick up...but the greatest pleasure we had seeing the great, comfortable and very nice decorated room. After many hours walking in town and a lot of places we visited,we were absolutely happy returning in our hotel, where we found nice atmosphere, nice place in top terace or relax in a wonderfull spa.We were happy in hamamm...and the massage...everything was fine!!!
We did not intend to get some more weight kilos...but the breakfast bufet ,in my opinion need some improvements...and the top building bar, especially in pool area deserve some attention in very next time, making it a good alternative for spa(it is very, very beautifull).Next year we intend to visit again Istambul and I think we will decide to reserve again D.H.

Nice rooftop pool and restaurant bar. Also very nice health spa and pool in basement. Breakfast are was clean and comfortable too.
The bathrooms were too small and poor lighting. The lifts were too small for the traffic. The hair dryer in our room overheated after 30 seconds. After repeated requests to reception and a visit by the house engineer, it still over heated.

I enjoyed the stylish decor and easy accessibility of the Darkhill Hotel.
More seating in common areas for relaxation would help.

Good location (near to shops, bazar, blue mosque), friendly staff, nice (sea) view from the terrace on the top of the hotel, good bed, free wifi which is quite fast. There is not much noise, the hotel is quite. There is a minibar in the room.
The swimming pool was in the middle of the terrace on the top of the hotel, so that other guests were continually looking at you while you were swimming. The swimming pool, sauna and turkish bath are only open till 8 pm. There are very few vegetarian dishes on the menu. The breakfast is only till 10 A.M. and there is not enough (choice of) bread. There is no coffee/tea in the rooms. There is no bath in the room (only shower) and the water pressure is low.
